Craig S. Goralski has spent more than four decades serving the people of Texas — from leading law enforcement operations in Houston to strengthening school safety across the state. Craig also comes from a family of five law enforcement officers representing over 150 years of law enforcement experience, including three police chiefs. A Republican candidate for Congress in Texas’s 38th District, Craig brings a lifetime of experience protecting communities, defending freedom, and managing with integrity.
A Proven Conservative Leader
Craig began his career with the Houston Police Department, rising to the rank of Captain where he retired while serving as Commander of the Special Crimes Division. His leadership earned him the Houston Police Department’s Lifetime Achievement Award, 2x Manager of the Year and commendations for excellence during critical moments like Hurricanes Ike and Harvey.
As Chief of Police for Aldine ISD, Craig and his team helped to protect 70,000 students and 9,300 employees across 78 campuses, while achieving the Texas Police Foundation’s Best Practices Recognition. He later joined the Texas Education Agency, where he worked to develop and oversee statewide school safety programs that safeguard students across Texas.

His platform focuses on securing the border, defending the Constitution, cutting government waste, and empowering parents in education. With graduate degrees in Law, Business, Public Administration, and Criminal Justice Leadership, Craig Goralski combines the expertise of a seasoned public servant with the conservative convictions of a lifelong Texan. He has been trusted by Texas leaders, school boards, and communities to lead with strength, compassion, and results. He has also worked on legislation in Texas in nearly every legislative session since the early 1990s. Craig has also served as a Board member and Chairman of the Texas State Pension Review Board, the Houston Police Officers Pension Board, President of the Houston Area Police Chiefs Association, and the Board of the Village Creek HOA in Cypress, Texas.
Craig’s life of service is guided by faith, family, and a deep belief that America’s best days are still ahead — if we stand firm for our values and fight for the future of Texas.
